SALT LAKE CITY — Police have arrested a Logan man accused of raping two women.
In total, Arthur Bryar Robinson, 25, was booked into the Cache County Jail on Monday for investigation of two counts of rape, two counts of object rape, four counts of forcible sodomy and two counts of forcible sexual abuse.
One woman detailed seven separate incidents dating back to 2016. During those incidents, she said Robinson would sexually assault her as she told him “no,” according to a police affidavit.
Another woman, who was in a long-term relationship with Robinson, told investigators that between December and June, he became more sexually aggressive and assaulted her despite her pleas to stop, according to the affidavit.
On Monday, detectives from Logan police and the Cache County Sheriff’s Office went to Robinson’s work in Park City to question him.
In one case, Robinson admitted he “crossed the line” and “stated that he did not take no for an answer and kept pushing the issue” when the woman didn’t do what he wanted, the police affidavit states.
With the second victim, Robinson admitted to “treating (her) as an object and not stopping sexual assault when told to,” another affidavit states. That woman had also confronted Robinson during a phone call in September, during which he allegedly “admitted to being manipulative, coercive and selfish.”
