SALT LAKE CITY — Criminal charges were filed Monday against a Logan man accused of engaging in an illegal relationship with a 14-year-old girl.
Tyler Craig Henstra, 20, is charged in 1st District Court with 10 counts of unlawful sex with a juvenile, a third-degree felony.
Henstra engaged in sexual activity with a teenage girl between 30 and 40 times over a two-month period, according to a police affidavit.
“Tyler said the female initially told him she was 18 then later 16. Tyler acknowledged that the sister to the victim told him that the victim was 14 years old and that he didn’t believe anyone would find out,” the affidavit states.
