SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police are investigating a shooting at a convenience store parking lot Friday morning.
Just after 6:30 a.m. a shooting was reported at Maverik, 3260 S. West Temple.
A silver and blue Dodge Durango was in the parking lot with at least two people inside when the passenger got out and stumbled across the parking lot after being shot, said South Salt Lake police spokeswoman Danielle Croyle.
A man in his late 20s was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
