Brittany Russell, director of marketing at The Ridge Cottonwoord, helps lead a parade of Bristol Hospice Utah volunteers while wearing an inflatable unicorn suit outside of Spring Gardens Assisted Living in Holladay on Saturday. According to volunteer organizer Holly Smith, who wore a duck costume, the group hoped to spread cheer for senior citizens staying inside amid the COVID-19 pandemic. “It brightened their spirits and it really broke up the day,” said Kim Gladstone, executive director for Spring Gardens Assisted Living, one of the facilities the parade went by.
