Two of the three helicopters fighting the Mountain Home Fire burning east of North Ogden fly over the area on Tuesday. The Weber County fire, one of several burning across the state, was estimated to be about 78 acres late Tuesday evening and was 50% contained. The cause of the fire, which is burning near the Coldwater trailhead, is under investigation. In Washington County, officials confirmed the Turkey Farm Road Fire was caused by fireworks, which are illegal year-round in the area. Three teenage males are suspected of being involved, and fire officials were asking for the public’s help in identifying them. The three were seen driving a white sedan on Cottonwood Road about 9 p.m. Monday.
