SALT LAKE CITY — A Murray man accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at a hotel now faces multiple felony charges.

Ty Coe, 21, was charged Tuesday in 3rd District Court with aggravated kidnapping, a first-degree felony; and three counts of forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony.

In late July, a 15-year-old girl told police that Coe took her to a Salt Lake County motel, “made her snort three lines of cocaine” and then became “aggressive” with her, causing bruising on her neck, head, back, legs, ankles and elbows, according to charging documents.

Coe “ripped (the girl’s) clothes off and held her by the back of her neck, pinning her against the wall,” the charges state.

After sexually abusing the girl, Coe told her she “had to keep this on the down low because of their ages,” according to charging documents.
