TABIONA, Duchesne County — Troopers have identified the motorcyclist who died Sunday after a crash on state Route 35 as Michael Levi Willetts, 35, of Bountiful.
The crash occurred about 12:41 p.m. as the motorcyclist, who was traveling east with a group of other bikers, failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and went off the roadway, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
Willetts succumbed to his injuries despite wearing a helmet and protective gear, the UHP said.
