SOUTH SALT LAKE — South Salt Lake police are looking for an older black Dodge Durango after a pedestrian was hit and killed about 9 p.m. Friday in the area of Gregson Avenue and Main Street.
Police said they believe the Durango left the scene of the accident, and they’re asking for the public’s help in finding the driver. They suspect the vehicle will have front-end damage.
A statement was posted to the department’s Facebook page, but no information about the man who was killed was available Friday night. The investigation into the crash was being conducted by South Salt Lake’s Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team.
