SALT LAKE CITY — A car crashed into a fire engine in Salt Lake City Monday afternoon, injuring three people including two firefighters, the city’s fire department confirmed.

The engine was sitting on the apron at the fire station near the corner of 900 West and 800 South when it was struck by the vehicle, the department said, momentarily pinning the car underneath the front of the engine.
