An 18-year-old man from Kentucky was killed in a snowboarding accident in Park City.
The incident happened at Park City Mountain Resort just after 3 p.m. Tuesday, Park City police announced Thursday. The man was snowboarding on the Mid-Mountain Trail Run when he went off the main run and hit a tree, according to police.
The man, whose name was not released, was wearing a helmet but sustained fatal injuries, police stated.
