A $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for killing a Moab couple and leaving their bodies at a campsite in the La Sal Mountains.
The Grand County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday that a local business contractor, who wished to remain anonymous, was offering the reward money to help solve the murders of Kylen "Ky" Carrol Schulte, 24, and 38-year-old Crystal Michelle Turner.
The women, who were recently married, were last seen leaving Woody's Tavern in Moab between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 13.
At some point during the weekend, the women called friends to say they were moving to another campsite because of a "weirdo camping near them that was freaking them out," according to social media posts.
On Aug. 16, Moab police received a call that Turner had not shown up for work, which co-workers said was very unlike her.
On Aug. 18, about 11:30 a.m., Schulte's boss and friend Cindy Sue Hunter, who went looking for the missing women, found their bodies at their campsite in the South Mesa area of the La Sal Mountains. Both had been shot to death. No suspect has been identified and investigators have ruled out the possibility of the deaths being a murder-suicide, according to the sheriff's office.
The FBI and Utah State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Grand County Sheriff's Office with the case.

If you do not get an answer, please leave a detailed message and an investigator will call you back," the sheriff's office stated on Tuesday.
