One of Salt Lake City’s largest Christmas lights display has returned for the holiday season.
Forrest Nunley has been lighting his 18th Avenue home with lights and blow molds for 30 years. Nunley and four “elves” spend a month setting up the display. Nunley greets many of his visitors and hands out candy canes and coloring books to children. “Frosty’s Winter Wonderland” includes more than 330 blow molds, or illuminated figures, that can be seen from a long distance on the Avenues hillside.
Deseret News photojournalist Laura Seitz documented the beauty on a recent December night.
