A march, community rally and student performances were part of the occasion

Students from Westminster University, along with members of the school’s staff and faculty participated in an on-campus march honoring the late Martin Luther King Jr. Thursday.

The event was part of a weeklong celebration of the civil rights leader that also included a rally after the march with remarks from university leaders, along with student performances.

Other events planned in January included a blood drive, lectures, family activities and a day of service.
