As the holiday season is in full swing in Utah — who needs snow, anyway? — many places have been lit up with dazzling lights and decorated with heartwarming Christmas displays.
As Christmas Day approaches, there are still a number of places across the Wasatch Front with lights up for people to visit and experience the magic of the season.
Here’s a look at a number of places that you can go to see dazzling lights and a variety of other Christmas displays in Utah.
Ogden’s Christmas Village
Each year, the Christmas Village illuminates downtown Ogden with a variety of displays and holiday lights. The lights are turned on each day at 5 p.m. and turned off at 10 p.m.
“Spectators find themselves in a dazzling winter wonderland set aglow with Christmas lights and a unique setting of cottages modeled after Santa’s village at the North Pole‚” according to Ogden’s website.
The Christmas Village will be open until Jan. 1.
Cost: Free for all visitors
Lightwalk at Tracy Aviary
The Lightwalk at Tracy Aviary allows visitors to take a stroll through eight acres of light displays. There is also the opportunity for kids to meet Santa in a life-size gingerbread house.
Visitors can also purchase holiday beverages and treats to enjoy as they “meander through a lighted walk-thru tunnel, interactive light displays, and thousands of twinkling lights that adorn the beautiful natural surroundings of Tracy Aviary‚” per the Aviary’s website.
It will run until Dec. 31 but it will not be open on Dec. 24 and 25.
Cost: $17.95 for adults and $13.95 for children ages 3 to 12
Willard Bay State Park light show
The Fantasy at the Bay Lights Show at Willard Bay State Park is a drive-thru light show that will run until Dec. 24. Visitors can also purchase 3D glasses at the entrance that enhance the experience.
The light show is open nightly from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. It will run until Christmas Eve.
Cost: $20 per vehicle
The Snow Globe Stroll in Park City
Park City’s Snow Globe Stroll gives visitors the opportunity to view seven unique, life-sized snow globes. The theme for the event this year is “Winter Wonderland.”
Each snow globe is “beautifully crafted by local artists to capture the spirit and sparkle of the holiday season.”
Visitors will be able to see the snow globes along Park City’s Main Street until Jan. 3, 2026.

The light display at Layton Commons Park
At Layton Commons Park, the city is putting on a Lights Before Christmas display
The display will run until Dec. 31 and the lights are on from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Visitors can see the display by walking, driving or riding the train.

Loveland Living Planet Aquarium’s Lantern Festival
The Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper is bringing back its lantern festival for the holidays. The outdoor Rio Tinto Kennecott Plaza is filled with “larger-than-life, nature-inspired lanterns” that “illuminate the night sky and spark your imagination.”
The Aquarium Lantern Festival is a special after-hours event held from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Grand America’s Christmas windows
Once again, the Grand America hotel in Salt Lake City has a display of a variety of Christmas window displays.
The windows are designed after a variety of themes based on different Christmas songs, such as “Little Drummer Boy,” “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” and “Mele Kalikimaka.”
The window displays will be available to view until Jan. 3, 2026.

The lights at Draper City Park
Earlier this holiday season, Draper City lit up its city park with over 3 million lights placed on trees throughout the area. There is also a Tree of Life display.
The lights will be up until Jan. 1 and are turned on every evening from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The lights are also turned on in the mornings from 5 a.m. to 8 a.m.

Riverwoods holiday lights display
During the holiday season, Provo’s Riverwoods shopping center is completely decked out with 1.5 million lights.
Shoppers and visitors are welcome to come walk through Riverwoods to see the lights and feel some holiday cheer. Kids also have the opportunity to visit Santa.
The Santa visits will take place nightly, Monday through Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. until Dec. 23.

Gardner Village
West Jordan’s Gardner Village is decked out for the holiday season.
“With twinkling lights, charming shops and festive displays, the Village transforms into a scene straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie,” according to Gardner Village’s website.
There are also Santa’s elf displays, a scavenger hunt, a music dinner show and a holiday escape room for visitors to enjoy.
The village will be decked out for the holiday season until Dec. 31.
