Young basketball hopefuls gather in Farmington for first big event

The Utah Jazz this week announced the launch of Utah Jazz Lady Notes Basketball, a new girls youth basketball ecosystem designed to unify and elevate the competitive pathway for female athletes grades 5-12. The program will expand access for existing club and high school programs by introducing new tournaments, leagues, and skill development opportunities.
The program will be led by former successful high school and BYU coach Amber Whiting, who said, “The Lady Notes ecosystem will bring new energy to Utah’s youth sports landscape by creating meaningful, memorable experiences that inspire young girls to develop a lifelong love for basketball while continuing to grow their game.”
The program held its first Lady Notes tournament for middle and high school athletes at the Western Sports Park in Farmington this week. More information is available here.
