Group event helps students of all ages connect, raise funds

Stormy weather dampened the field but not the enthusiasm as a large group of yoga practitioners gathered at the University of Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium on Saturday morning to enjoy a class.
Dubbed" Namastadium" and billed as the state’s largest community yoga event, as many as 1,000 people gathered on the field at Rice-Eccles for the class, set to benefit Utah nonprofit Yoga Forward.
Lightning concerns and rain forced the crowd indoors, but they still took advantage of the gathering and enjoyed the day.
