Resort offers outdoor fun for end-of-summer celebration

Utah’s premier alpine gathering is in full swing above Salt Lake City as the 2026 Oktoberfest festival runs through the Labor Day weekend and into October at Snowbird Resort.
Held every weekend — noon to 6 p.m. — through Oct. 11, the festival transforms Little Cottonwood Canyon into a vibrant Bavarian village, blending time-honored European traditions with mountain adventure for visitors of all ages.
The fare includes traditional German cuisine and beverages, along with musical performances and crafts as well as summer mountain activities.
