These Candidates Reject The Communist Label. Their Own Leadership Embraces It.

Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) has grown from 6,000 members to 120,000, making it the largest socialist organization in U.S. history. Its candidates are winning primary elections in New York, Colorado, Washington, D.C., and beyond. President Donald Trump says it's communism taking over the Democratic Party. Deseret News reporter Brigham Tomco breaks down what the movement believes, how fast it's growing, and whether a small but organized group can reshape an entire political party.
