A man about 25 years old robbed the First Interstate Bank at 66 E. 1650 North on Thursday, leaving with an undetermined amount of money, a Provo police spokesman said.

The man entered the bank about 1:15 p.m., changed a $100 bill and gave the teller a note demanding money, Capt. George Pierpont said. He left heading south through the Riviera Apartments.He is described as Caucasian with a slight tan, brown hair, 6 feet tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He was wearing jeans, a sky blue down parka and a baseball-type cap.

The investigation has been turned over to the FBI.
