A jury Friday found that Lorimar Productions wrongfully fired actress Valerie Harper and her husband-producer from the NBC series "Valerie," awarding the couple a total of $1.85 million, plus future profits from the show.

Following four days of deliberations, the Superior Court jury ruled that the couple were entitled to 12.5 percent of the show's adjusted gross profits when the program is sold into syndication.
