A white security guard has shot to death his 27th black burglary suspect since 1986, police and a businessman said.
Sybrand Louis van Schoor fatally shot an 18-year-old suspect Saturday at a meat factory in the port city of East London, the owner of the plant, Peter Augustinus said Tuesday.Police confirmed the shooting and identified the slain man as Lindile Hilti.
Van Schoor declined to comment about the incident.
