"Women in the Workplace" will be the subject of a three-hour documentary Saturday (Sept. 2) starting at noon on KTKK radio (AM-630, alias "K-Talk."

The first hour of the show will be a special local program on "Women in the Workplace in Utah," with host Gayland Palmer. Topics such as pay, sexual harassment and discrimination will be discussed.The NBC Network will present the live, two-hour national program on the subject starting at 1 p.m.

- In other KTKK news, Neil Bush, son of President Bush, will be a live studio guest on Joe Redburn's KTKK morning show Friday from 9-10 a.m.

- KTKK has also announced its revised fall schedule that begins Monday:

6-10 a.m. - Joe Redburn.

10 a.m.-noon - Rush Limbaugh Show, live syndicate feed from New York.

Noon-3 p.m. - Mills Crenshaw.

3-7 p.m. - Jim Dabakis.

7-8 p.m. - Salley Jesse.

8-11 p.m. - Tom Snyder Show, live from Los Angeles.

1 a.m. -6 a.m. - Ray Breim (He'll be replaced in mid-September by the Net).

(Note: Dabakis has been in the mid-morning slot for almost 15 years, this will be his first time in the afternoon shift.)

KTKK afternoon personality Martin Davies has left the station.

- KSL (AM-1160) - The station will premiere "Costas Coast-To-Coast," a national sports talk show hosted by Bob Costas, every Sunday from 7-9 p.m. - starting Sept. 3.

This new show will feature the biggest and most controversial personalities in the world of sports. It will also provide a weekend wrap-up of national sports and features on various sports personalities.

KSL will also air "Costas Inside Sports" at 12:17 p.m. daily and "Sports Flashback" at 3:16 p.m. daily.

Costas was recent recognized as national "Sportscaster of the Year." He is the play-by-play announcer on NBC's No. 2 baseball team and is also a voice for collegiate basketball.

- KRCL (FM-90.9) will continue its 10th anniversary birthday celebration next Saturday (Sept. 9) from noon until 7 p.m. at Liberty Park.

This "Birthday in the Park" event will include music and food. Admission is free.

- KRSP (FM-103.5 and AM-1060) recently named Nina Green as the news director for both stations. She is a BYU graduate and has worked three years with KRSP as managing editor and reporter.

Green won five "UBEE" awards at last month's Utah Broadcaster's convention for outstanding news reporting, features and public affairs programming. She will also do some reporting for sister station Superpower KUSW Worldwide Radio.
