The Utah Transit Authority will change or eliminate some of its routes in Utah County beginning in March.

UTA spokesman Craig Rasmussen said the adjustments are part of the bus system's long-term plan to improve and expand bus service throughout Utah County. He said the changes are based on staff evaluations and public input.

ROUTE 1 - Extend all express trips that had fewer than 25 passengers to Exit 279 in American Fork. An additional four to seven minutes will be added to make this change. All other trips will remain unchanged.

ROUTE 2 (East Orem/South Provo) - Begin the 6:08 a.m. southbound trip at University Mall.
