Utah Opera's 2nd Otello also a successIn a world supposedly starving for dramatic tenors, Utah Opera has hit the jackpot twice in its production of "Otello." David Rampy, shown here with Natalia Rom as Desdemona, alternates in the title role, and undertakes his first Otello with striking success. Rampy's voice is not only big, pointed and exciting, but musical as well, and his dramatic gifts are well matched to the demands of the passionate Moor. Rampy will sing Otello again on Friday, Oct. 19, with George Gray performing on Wednesday, Oct. 17, and Sunday, Oct. 21.
