Bart Kofoed, the guard waived five days earlier by the Golden State Warriors, was re-signed Saturday to fill a roster vacancy created by the injury to starting guard Mitch Richmond.

The 6-foot-4 Kofoed signed a one-year contract. He played two seasons ago with Utah of the NBA.Richmond suffered a broken thumb on Thursday night against the Chicago Bulls and went on the Warriors' injured reserve list Friday. Kofoed began the season on injured reserve and was waived last Monday after recovering from a sprained ankle.
