Sam Gustafson, vice president of Capitol Industries Inc., has been elected 1990 chairman of the board of the South Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce.
Gustafson, a graduate of the University of Utah, is in charge of his company's leasing division and is a member of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors.Other executive officers recently elected include Roger Gillespie, chairman-elect, Utah Recycling Co.; Dale Ridd, secretary, Standard Builders Supply; and Hal Bateman, treasurer, Valley Bank and Trust.
The other board members elected were Hyrum Mead, Strand Electro Controls; Rick Frendt, Morris/Ask Mr. Foster Travel; Tom Earl, Price Savers; Brent Baker, ZCMI; Don Lefavor, Lefavor Envelope Co.; Al Gouzene, Zellerbach; Jerry Blackburn, J.B. Tile Co.; and David Brewer, Adpro/Skyline Printing Co.
The chamber staff includes Darro H. Glissmeyer, president; Romie Glissmeyer, executive vice-president; and Richard M. Taggart, administrative adviser.
