Just when they were getting the hang of playing at home, the Salt Lake Sting are on the road again. They play the Seattle Storm tonight at 8:30 p.m. MST at Memorial Stadium, their first road game in six weeks.

The Sting are coming off a five-game homestand dating back to May 19. At first they struggled, losing two of the first three, before winning their last two games. They feel confident going back on the road where they are 3-1 this season."We're very confident based on our road record and our last two results at home," said Sting Coach Laurie Calloway. "The pressure's on them (Seattle) because they're expected to win at home."

The Storm own the best home record (5-0) in the league. Calloway says there are several reasons for the Storm's fine home record. The field is narrower than most (65 yards, the league average is around 70), the astroturf is worn and the weather has been to their advantage (rain in three games).

"They're not that great of a team, but their homefield advantage is better than anyone in the league," said Calloway.

The Storm's top player is Chance Fry, who leads the APSL West in scoring with 21 points, including nine goals and three assists. Eddie Henderson has nine points with three goals.

Tonight's games is pivotal for both teams, since they are tied for third place in the WSL North Division with 6-4 records and 51 points.

The Storm have won three straight, including a 10-2 triumph over Arizona, the night after the Condors beat Salt Lake 3-1. The Sting have won two straight.
