The controversial rap group 2 Live Crew on Friday canceled the remaining 11 appearances on its current concert tour after singer Luther Campbell was ordered home to recover from exhaustion, a publicist said.
"Luther Campbell, the lead singer of the 2 Live Crew musical group, has canceled 11 engagements because of complete exhaustion," a spokeswoman for the band's publicist Solters, Roskin & Friedman said in Miami.The canceled performances include shows in Hampton Beach, N.H.; Boston; Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Jose, Calif.
The group has been dogged by protest throughout its tour.
