Helen Clay DeNiro, age 76, passed away July 22, 1990 following a long illness.

Born August 30, 1913 in Murray to; James and Luvina Reeder Clay. She married Joseph DeNiro, November 12, 1932 in Salt Lake City. Helen and Joe were high school sweethearts and Joe was dedicated to her throughout her life. Helen loved to fish and always had a great love for animals. She loved to see happiness and never found fault with anyone.Survived by her husband of Murray; daughter, Marie D. Davis, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; sons, James C., Menlo Park, Calif.; Joe F., Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Grace Barrett, Sun City, Calif.; brother, Robert Clay, Kaysville.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 25, 1990 at the Murray City Cemetery, 5600 So. Vine Street (700 East). Funeral directors Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary. In lieu of flowers the family requested donations to the American Cancer Society, 610 East South Temple, SLC, Utah 84102.
