Walt Disney's World On Ice has always been for both children and the part of adults that never grew up.
This year, that's doubly so as the featured attraction is Peter Pan, complete with Wendy, Michael, John, Captain Hook and that ticking crocodile. It's the Sir James S. Barrie story told Disney-style - made familiar to a whole new generation of kids with the recent release of the animated movie on video.
Lead skater Jaimee Eggleton identifies with that boy who's always still a boy.
"I feel like the role of Peter Pan was made for me," said the 26-year-old skater. "I never wanted to grow up, and now I have the chance to play the child that is still very much a part of me."
Of course, there's more to World On Ice than just Peter Pan. Among the other attractions are the skating team of Penny Booth and Michael Nemec, who were gold medal winners at the World Professional Championship competition.
And Peter Pan won't be the only Disney character on the ice. Popular afternoon cartoon stars Chip 'n' Dale and their Rescue Rangers will be featured - and don't forget about good ol' Mickey Mouse.
