Darryl Plandowski scored at 1:57 of the third overtime Saturday night to give Northern Michigan an 8-7 victory over Boston University and the NCAA hockey championship game.

Plandowski's third goal of the game came from the 15 feet away from B.U. backup goalie Scott Cashman and was setup on a pass by Mark Beaufait.
