Some motorists feel better about rush-hour traffic because they claim they have the image of Jesus Christ watching over them from a billboard that features a plate of spaghetti.
Dozens say they have seen the image of a crucified Christ in a clump of spaghetti on a Pizza Hut advertisement overlooking Memorial Drive. Some say it's changed their lives.Joyce Simpson claims she was torn between continuing to sing with her church choir or seeking a professional career when she saw the billboard while stopped at a gas station.
"And I saw Christ's face," she said. Simpson decided to stick with the choir.
The advertisement, one of about 20 in the Atlanta area, shows a tangle of steaming, sauce-covered spaghetti on a fork. It is emblazoned with the words "spaghetti junction."
