Mike Lynn has resigned as president of the World League of American Football.

Lynn, who took over as president of the WLAF on Oct. 10, 1990, said his continuing association with the NFL's Minnesota Vikings played a part in his decision to step down. Lynn is a participant in a group seeking NFL approval of a new Vikings' ownership control arrangement.
