Rich DeVos, co-founder and president of Amway Corp., purchased the Orlando Magic from a group headed by William duPont III for a reported $85 million. The club, which was granted an expansion franchise for $32.5 million in April 1987, will be operated by his oldest son, 35-year-old Dick DeVos.
