Aris M. Christensen, died January 10, 1992 at his home in Salt Lake City.
He was born, April 23, 1902, Kimberly, Utah to Martin and Ida Victoria Sorenson Christensen, his parents died when he was 2, and he was raised by an Aunt and Uncle, Lionel and Clara Sorenson of Elsinore.He married Orlena Utley June 13, 1925, Salt Lake City and spent his early married life buying furs from indians and trappers in Utah, Nevada, Southern Idaho and Colorado. He was active in the Utah Numismatic Organization and participated in several coin shows.
Survivors include his wife, Orlena of Salt Lake; Son Aris Max Christensen of Ivins, Utah; daughter, Coleen Hunt of Salt Lake; nine grandchildren, 36 great-Grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and his sister, Thelma Chamberlain of Ogden.
Funeral Services will be held, Monday, January 13, 1992, 2:00 p.M., Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, where friends may call, Sunday 6-8 P.M. and Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn.
