Ashley Ambrose of Mississippi Valley returned an interception 44 yards for a touchdown and Tyrone Williams, the first Canadian college player invited to the Senior Bowl, caught a 36-yard TD pass Saturday to lift the AFC to a 13-10 victory over the NFC in the Senior Bowl College All-Star Game.

The game was played in a steady rain with temperatures in the 30s and 30-mile-per-hour wind gusts.Neither team could generate much offense. The AFC had just 22 yards and one first down in the opening half. The AFC turned the game around, however, in the second half when Minnesota's Shawn Lumpkin blocked a punt, which rolled dead at the NFC 36.

Williams' third-quarter TD pass from Virginia Tech quarterback Will Furrer gave the AFC a 6-3 lead, and Ambrose sealed the victory when he intercepted a pass from Penn State's Tony Sacca and ran untouched to the end zone.

The NFC had a final chance after Michigan's Mike Evans recovered a Furrer fumble at the AFC 31 with 1:05 left. The NFC lost 9 yards in four plays, however, as the AFC held on.
