The Utah Transit Authority has reported a 15.4 percent increase in monthly ridership in September 1992 compared to September 1991.

UTA officials note that ridership not only is growing, but it also is growing at a rate faster than the area's population increase.UTA officials said the system has seen ridership increases for nine of the past 10 years. Projections are that ridership this year will top 22,650,000.
