Marilyn Arnold, former dean of graduate studies and professor emeritus of English at Brigham Young University, will present the annual Phi Kappa Phi fall lecture Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in 375 Wilkinson Center.

"I Will Never Know: The Eye That Sees Twelve Hours" is the title of her address. The public lecture is free.Phi Kappa Phi, the only campus-wide honor society that is a member of the National Association of Honor Societies, sponsors the fall meeting, which includes a lecture by an outstanding BYU scholar, said William E. Evenson, acting chapter president.

The annual fall meeting, Evenson said, is a forum to recognize the recipient of the Phi Kappa Phi Faculty Honor Award, given each year to a faculty member who typifies the ideals of the society - character, achievement and service.

As recipient of this year's award, Arnold will receive a $1,000 cash award, Evenson said.
