Playing in their final NCAA Division II game before beginning the move to Division I-AA next year, the Gamecocks ran their way to a 17-13 victory over defending champion Pittsburg State in the championship game Saturday.The Gamecocks' option offense was relentless, piling up 390 yards rushing and controlling the ball for more than 38 minutes. Jacksonville State only threw four passes in the game - none in the second half.
