Darrell Hawkins hit all eight shots from the floor and scored 20 points Thursday night to lead No. 12 Arkansas to a 96-72 rout over Southeast Missouri State.
Hawkins, who made 4 of 5 free throws, led the hot-shooting Razorbacks, 4-0. Arkansas sank 37 of 66 shots for 56 percent shooting while SE Missouri State made only 26 of 62 shots for 42 percent.Hawksins also led Arkansas City 6 rebounds, and Scotty Thurman added 14 with the help of three 3-pointers in 5 tries.
Devon Lake scored 27 points for the Indians, who committed 31 turnovers.
Hawkins scored 6 points as Arkansas opened the game with a 10-0 run. Lake responded with 12 points and capped a 19-9 spurt with a 3-pointer with 9:11 left in the first half that lifted Southeast Missouri State into a 19-19 tie.
