H. Edward Neslen, age 75, died February 28, 1992 in West Jordan, Utah.

Born April 30, 1917 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Ule Francis and Hazel Barnes Neslen. Married Florence F. Frandsen on June 24, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah.Veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. Graduated from the University of Utah. He was an artist, architectural illustrator, and art educator for 30 years at Granite High School. Member of NEA, UEA, and Associated Utah Artists. Received "National Teacher of the Year" honors and was listed in "Who's Who of the West."

Survived by his wife of Salt Lake; a son Howard, Seattle, Wash; and a granddaughter, Jean Neslen of Providence, R.I.

Funeral services Tuesday, March 3rd, at 12 noon, Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call Monday evening 6 - 8 p.m., and Tuesday, one hour prior to service. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
