Sharlene Jean Erickson Wright, died Mar. 19, 1992 in Murray from injuries suffered in an auto accident.
Born August 9, 1935 in Murray, Utah to Brigham Illo and Laura Ann
Berrett Erickson. Raised in Murray, Utah. Attended BYU and the University of Utah. Married Dr. Jay W. Wright in the Salt Lake Temple, August 3, 1956. She possessed many talents and used them to serve the community. She spent many years in the Murray PTA and various church callings among which were ward Primary president, Young Womens president, Relief Society president and Stake Young Womens president.Everyone who knew her loved her.

Rasmussen, Mrs. Jeff (Lisa Jo) Mitchell, Mrs. Wade (Sandra LaVonne) Higgs; one sister, Mrs. Beryl O'Connel; one brother, LaMar Erickson and wife, Helen; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dr. H. Clyde and June Wright Coon, Dr. Dan R. and LaDean Wright Bird, 13 nieces and nephews and her pride "seven and one-half grandchildren."
Funeral services will be held Monday, 1 p.m., Murray 24th Ward, 775 East Three Fountains Drive. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State and Monday at the church from 11:45-12:45.
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
