Susanne Ellen Iosch, 53, died in the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire on April 25, 1992 following a long illness.
She was born November 3, 1938 in San Diego, California to H. Raymond and Marjorie Cheroske Wyllie and grew up in Long Beach. She was active in student government activities and was Governor of California Girls State and U.S. Treasurer of Girls Nation. She attended Stanford University, where she later met and married John K.M. Olsen on December 14, 1957. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were the parents of seven children and from 1972-75 they presided over the Canada-Montreal LDS Mission. She was a talented teacher, poetess, writer and was the author of the book entitled "The Inner Game of Beauty." She taught in most of the Church auxiliaries and special programs at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah. She was also a talented lecturer and presenter for various business seminars and traveled widely in such capacity. She and her husband were divorced in December, 1986.On July 1, 1988 she married Frank H. Iosch of Ridgefield, Connecticut. His business pursuits took them to live in Hong Kong and more recently to the Manchester, New Hampshire area. They made their home in nearby Bedford.
She is survived by her husband, Frank H. Iosch of Bedford, NH; her mother, Marjorie Wyllie of Morino Valley, California; six children and two step-daughters, Mrs. Mark (Erica) Clayton, Katrina Olsen, both St. George, Utah; Kirsta Olsen, William W. Olsen, Trevor C. Olsen, all of Salt Lake City; Amanda Olsen, Bedford, NH; Mrs. Ross (Deanne) Bidencope and Mrs. Martyn (Judith) Carne, both of Sydney, Australia; a sister, Mrs. H. Sanford (Monica) Jones, Morino Valley, CA; and six grandchildren. A son, John K.M. Olsen, Jr., and her father preceded her in death.
Funeral services in Salt Lake City on Wednesday, April 29th, at 12 noon, Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in Manchester, NH.
