Victor Abbott Spencer, born May 27, 1923, in Salt Lake City, passed away unexpectedly in his home on April 27, 1992. He was 68.

Victor was a decorated World War II Veteran, beloved husband, and head of family. He practiced as an attorney for over 40 years, making every effort to be honest and fair in his dealings. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Norma; mother, Lucy Sanborn Spencer, stepfather, J. Raymond Spencer, sister, Sylvia Emerson and grandson, Andrew Smith.He is survived by wife, Kyong; father, Victor H. Lyman (San Francisco, California), stepmother Bernice Spencer (Draper), daughters, Carol Dixon, Barbara Stott, Diane Smith, Sheri Fawson, Annette Ahlander, (all in Salt Lake City), Denise Cervantes, (Alhambra, California) and son, Bruce Spencer. He is also survived by sisters, Rebecca Brown (Washington, New Jersey), Lucy Tucker, (Seattle, Washington), Claire Spencer, (Draper) and brothers David Spencer, (Draper) and Robert Spencer, (Salt Lake City) and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1, 1992 at 12:30 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, where friends may call Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
