The Utah Chapter of the National Committee for the Prevention of Child Abuse has honored Rosalind J. McGee, director of Utah Children, and Dr. Stephen Bavolek and the "Hold on to Dear Life" Board of Primary Children's Medical Center Foundation with "Child Advocate of the Year" awards.
The committee also honored as benefactors Utah Jazz's Karl Malone; IHC Health Plus; West One Bank of Utah; Nicholas Smith; and R. Conrad Teichert, West Star Productions.In addition, the committee expressed appreciation to Utah Cable TV Associates for "Utah Cable Cares," Rob Johnson and Alphagraphics, Kami Hair Salon, Delta Air Lines employees for the "Fair Share Campaign" and Questar Corp.
