Emily Paige Telford, age 3, everybody's sweetheart, who was loved by everyone she touched, returned to her Heavenly Father on May 7, 1992. Her death was the result of a drowning accident.
Creative and bright, charming, beautiful eyes, she loved to sing and dance, the color pink and spending time with her mother. Her mother was her best friend and she loved going shopping with her. She played on her scooter daily and was clerly her mother's pride and joy.Her brothers, Russell, Ben and Danny were instrumental in assisting their sister during the accident, so she was able to be with us for a short period of time.
Surviving are her mother, Shannon H., Murray; her father and stepmother, S. Jay and Kimberly B. Telford, Ogden; three brothers, Stuart Russell Telford, Benjamin Jay Telford and Daniel Ames Telford, all of Murray. Also surviving are her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Darrel A. Hoopes, Cottonwood, Arizona; Mr.and Mrs. George R. Telford, Alpine, Wyoming; her great-grandmothers Winifred Thomas, Ogden; Elda Grace Ames, Kearsn; several aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Barbara Ames Hoopes; her uncle, Kory James Hoopes; and her cousin, Samuel Hoopes.
The family would like to express their appreciation to all the neighbors, friends, emergency and hospital personnel who made our baby's last hours with her famil possible.
We all love you and miss you very much. Your death is a tremendous loss to us as well as to the world.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Murray 34th Ward Chapel, 5200 So. 7th West, with Bishop Walter Bascom officiating.
Friends may call at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the ward chapel from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment and memorial services willb e held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Fairview, Wyoming Cemetery.
