Our beloved son and brother, David Michael Sisam, age 31, returned to his Heavenly Father, June 15, 1992, after a valiant struggle with a prolonged illness, in Sherman Oaks, Calif.
David was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, April 26, 1961, a son of Richard L. Sisam and Colleen Moore Sisam.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alma N. Sisam and Edith B. Sisam and
Firman Moore and Betty N. Moore and niece, Brittany Sisam.
He is survived by his parents; a brother, Lorrin and wife, Lawana; sisters, Rebecca VanCott and husband, Darrell; Shannon Wilde and husband, Jeffrey; six nephews and five nieces, all Salt Lake City; also close personal friend, John DeMarco, Los Angeles, Calif.; numerous friends, whose lives he touched in so many ways. He brought joy and laughter to all those who knew him.
He graduated from Highland High School in 1979, where he was very active in music and drama. He was president of Mainstreet Travel, active in the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce, was listed as one of the "Outstanding Young Men of America" in 1987. Graduated from Joanne Barons School of Drama in Los Angeles, was an actor/producer and performed in American Film Institute productions in Los Angeles and in national TV commercials.
We will always be grateful to our Father in Heaven for the sweet and loving spirit of this special young man. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 22, 1 p.m. at the Wasatch 6th Ward, 8100 Top of the World Drive. Friends call Sunday 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, Murray and at the church Monday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
