The new action-adventure film for Columbia Pictures will be directed by Lewis Gilbert, starring Patrick Stewart as Daddy Warbucks, and is scheduled to begin production next March in Prague and other Eastern European locations.The film has a $16 million budget but the title role of Annie has yet to be cast.
