To paraphrase the Beatles, Manana Shevardnadze has G-g-g-g-georgia on her mind. Back in the U.S., back in the U.S., back in the U.S. of A.

The daughter of former Soviet Foreign Minister Eduard Shevardnadze is setting up shop in Atlanta to film documentaries.Asked why she didn't open her business in New York or California, Shevardnadze said that after several visits to Atlanta: "I got to love this town. I feel at home here." Her daughter, Tamuna Mashvili, is a student at Emory University and her son-in-law, David, attends Georgia State.

So far she hasn't opened an office and has no financial backing, but she said she hopes to open offices in Europe and in Atlanta's sister city of Tbilisi in the Republic of Georgia, where her father heads the governing council.
