Delta Burke says the bad press surrounding her highly public feud with the producers of "Designing Women" only served to boost her career. Burke was booted off the CBS sitcom last summer after losing a power struggle with the producers, but she'll have a show of her own this fall on ABC. "The bad press puts you in a bigger position," Burke said at a news conference to promote her new show, "Delta," in which the now blond and thinner Burke plays an aspiring country singer. Burke says she gained a lot of recognition during the dispute. "The stuff that was written was garbage, but at least people knew who I was."
